Hey, Wild Child.
Welcome, Free Spirit.  : )

I’m Cynthia – Fighter for Freedom, Spiritual Seeker, Outdoor Addict. Nature is my home and happy place, her rhythm is my heartbeat.

I’m a Writer and a Wanderer who prefers the endless wilderness over any busy city.

I firmly believe that if people truly, deeply fell in love with nature again, they would live in tune with their own sacred and inherent nature; they intuitively would protect and value what’s already part of them. They would live in tune with Earth, for the sake of love and connection to their home.

I’m the Creator & Founder of FREE YOUR WORK. As a Purpose & Business Coach, I help wholehearted businesses thrive and empower people to create meaningful work that serves a greater meaning as well as everyone involved.

As a writer, I want to inspire people to live by their values, reconnect to their soul’s truth, and follow their hearts.

Freedom, equality, and unconditional love are our guarantors for a sustainable and peaceful society, in harmony and respect for our home, Planet Earth.

I have dedicated my work, and my voice to those believes and principles.

Welcome to my blog. I’m glad you’re here – be inspired, trust your gut, listen to your heart, and let the stars guide you.

I studied Cultural Sciences, with a focus on history and sociology, just for fun. I was always interested in society, different cultures, and “what holds the earth together in its innermost elements” (Goethe, Faust). In March 2020, I decided to become politically active, with the tools I have – my words, and through silent, meditative presence.

I was born in a dictatorial country, the German Democratic Republic, and raised as a lucky and happy child of a freedom-loving, “politically unreliable” family, the first nearly eight years of my life behind the wall.

Right after school, I wanted to study Art or Costume Design – but to be honest, I didn’t have the guts. I worked as a costume assistant for a local theatre instead – one of my most beloved jobs ever. Theatre people will always have my love – everyone in the creative arts.

In 2009, I moved to Hamburg, with nothing more than a car and two suitcases, just because it felt right to do so. I’m in love with this city ever since, though I’d never move back.

In 2015, I quit my last corporate employment in marketing and went on a solo world trip. I found a temporary home in the US and finally returned to my place of birth, Dresden, in 2018.

We’ll see where I go from here…

11 things I love (besides freedom)

  • Hiking. Being outside.
  • Nature.
  • Otters. Any animal. But especially otters.
  • Bears. Ok, and bears. Have you ever noticed that they look like humans on four legs?
  • Books.
  • Bookstores. The special, local, independent ones.
  • Trees. And cacti.
  • Talking in funny voices, pretending everything speaks back.
  • Dancing.
  • Star Wars.
  • Cursing.

…and these days, more than usual: red wine. Lots and lots of red wine…
